Lendlease change can’t stop with chairman’s retirement
The retirement of Lendlease chairman Michael Ulmer will be welcomed by the company’s small army of critics. But it’s what happens next that counts.
Beleaguered property and construction giant Lendlease has thrown its small army of critics a bone, announcing the retirement of long-standing chairman Michael Ullmer ahead of next Monday’s critical investor strategy day.
Fellow director Nicola Wakefield Evans will also retire, joining Ullmer in stepping down at Lendlease’s annual general meeting in November.
