The impressive growth at IFM Investors, the global fund manager owned by a group of Australian industry superannuation funds, is yet another example of how the super sector has been transformed by the royal commission.

Funds under management at IFM grew by $22 billion or 31 per cent to $140 billion in the 2019 financial year. Chief executive Brett Himbury is blunt about what’s driven the increase.
