It’s not just electric vehicle sales that have dropped in Australia – so, too, have Australians’ expectations of buying one this decade.

Two years ago, 56 per cent of Australian car owners thought they would have an EV by 2030. Now, it is only 34 per cent, which we would argue it is still a stretch given EVs accounted for only 6.6 per cent of new car sales last month.
