Australia’s $3.7 trillion superannuation sector is on the edge of a systemic crisis, amid serious questions about the funds’ ability to provide an appropriate level of administration services to members.

Cbus is at the centre of this problem, having last week been taken to the Federal Court by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission over delays in dealing with insurance claims from members.
