Lloyd Williams revelled in the spotlight of winning his sixth Melbourne Cup, but he shared his success with Rekindling with a group of cashed-up mates.

Some showed just as much good timing as jockey Corey Brown did on the horse at Flemington, including Williams' fellow Financial Review Rich Lister Gerry Ryan.
