Cricket Australia and Optus set for rights deal

Cricket Australia is set to sign a digital rights deal with Optus, in a move that will see the telecommunications company fulfil its prediction of chasing more sports content.

While the deal will not include live vision of cricket matches, it is understood Optus will pay Cricket Australia at least several million dollars annually for the rights to show historic cricket vision and allow Optus customers to access the Cricket Live app for free.
