Retail giant Woolworths has entered a trading halt pending an announcement on the long-awaited sale of its hardware business.
Woolworths, which reports it earnings on Thursday, is understood to be on the verge of announcing the sale of its Home Timber & Hardware business, and its abandoned Masters unit.
