Wesfarmers confirms Rob Scott to take reins from Richard Goyder
Wesfarmers has promised no major changes in its strategy or business model and a continued focus on delivering strong shareholder returns when Rob Scott succeeds Richard Goyder as group managing director later this year.
Mr Scott, 47, will become the conglomerate's deputy chief executive effective immediately and will join the board as managing director after the annual meeting in November. He will continue to oversee Wesfarmers' industrials division until July 2017.
