Woolworths' suppliers say Australia's largest retailer has lifted its game on marketing and fresh food, but high staff turnover and poor execution continue to weigh on chief executive Brad Banducci's turnaround plan.
A survey of 58 Australian food and grocery suppliers by broker UBS found Woolworths' performance against that of arch rival Coles had stabilised on some fronts in recent weeks, but had deteriorated on others, sending its overall score marginally backwards.
