Maggie Beer food revenue at $21m with slim profits as Primary Opinion moves in
Investors eyeing a slice of the premium food business of celebrity chef Maggie Beer have been given a glimpse of its inner workings, with last year's annual revenue just above $21 million, although profits are slim.
Ms Beer and her husband, Colin, have agreed to sell 48 per cent of Maggie Beer Products to ASX-listed Primary Opinion for $15 million. Primary Opinion gave details to the ASX on Friday about its own timetable for an equity raising, and the operational performance of Maggie Beer Products, the business which employs about 100 people in the Barossa Valley in South Australia.
