Flight Centre's Graham Turner calls rip-off claims a 'beat-up' driven by union

Flight Centre managing director Graham Turner has questioned the timing of what he called a "beat-up" ABC investigation alleging customer rip-offs and a culture of bullying, given the Australian Services Union is trying to stand up an enterprise bargaining agreement for the travel company's staff.

"The ABC and the [Australian Services Union] are in each other's pocket on this," Mr Turner told The Australian Financial Review as Flight Centre unveiled a 14.5 per cent lift in net profit after tax to $264.2 million.
