First he took Australian brands Seafolly, RM Williams and 2XU to the world. Now luxury brands guru Ravi Thakran, the chairman of LVMH-backed private equity firm L Catterton Asia, wants to bring Asian and international brands to Australia.

Mr Thakran has flagged plans to open Ce La Vi, the trendiest nightclub in Singapore, in an iconic location in Sydney such as Bondi, The Rocks or Barangaroo.
