OZ Minerals lobs $444m takeover bid for Avanco

Swiss mining giant Glencore could soon be on OZ Minerals' share register, after OZ lobbed a cash and scrip takeover bid for a junior company that counts Glencore as one of its major shareholders.
OZ Minerals lobbed the offer on Tuesday for ASX-listed copper junior Avanco Resources in a deal that values the Brazilian focused company at $444 million.
