Fortescue Metals Group chief executive Nev Power to step down in February

Fortescue Metals Group chairman Andrew Forrest says the departure of long-standing chief executive Nev Power will coincide with the iron ore producer's next chapter of growth, potentially into new industries.

The Pilbara iron ore producer revealed Mr Power would step down from the helm of Fortescue on February 16, 2018, by which time he would have been at the company for seven years, including six and a half as CEO.
