Scott Morrison government's generator scheme falls behind schedule

The Morrison government is facing a pre-election logjam in its energy policy as its generator underwriting scheme falls behind schedule.
Proponents complain that continued uncertainty over the giant Snowy 2.0 project makes it hard for them to bid on their pet projects while the government is also under pressure from Liberal state governments to reinstate carbon emissions targets as a policy goal.
