Cooper Energy fields keen interest for $1b gas project
Cooper Energy has set a deadline of June to get partners and customers on board for its $1 billion Gippsland gas project, which chief executive David Maxwell says is benefiting from the oil price slump through lower costs.
Mr Maxwell said the data room process for the project, which commenced in late November, had a slow start but had seen a pick-up in interest since mid-January, with a surprisingly wide range of parties showing interest.
