RSEA Safety becomes Officeworks of workwear

Australia's largest workwear and safety products retailer, RSEA Safety, is planning to open a further 30 big box stores in the next two years in an aggressive expansion in the $2.5 billion sector after a $145 million buyout by the founders and top management.

Brandon Chizik, the founder and managing director, said the company would open an extra 10 stores by December with a major focus on Sydney in a push to snare more market share in an overall category which is growing by more than 10 per cent annually.
