Bradken guidance

Sineva Wilson

Engineering services provider Bradken has provided an update to investors after completing its unaudited accounts for the first half of 2017.

Based on management accounts, the company expects to deliver a net loss of $37 million for the half year.

Revenue fell 6 per cent to $380 million due to flat conditions in the mining related businesses and a further deterioration in its US engineered products business, it said.

Underlying EBITDA for the period is expected to hit about $52 million, unchanged from the previous year, as it continues with its transformation plan.
