Bank levy may force withdrawal from some markets

Australia's five biggest banks have warned the government that the $6.2 billion bank levy will render certain business units uncompetitive and may force them to withdraw from some markets entirely.
Business banking, government debt trading and some elements of debt financing are among the businesses likely to be affected, according to the banks.
