Macquarie University turns accountants into consultants

Macquarie University will overhaul its undergraduate accounting degree next year to include advisory-style soft skills to make graduates more appealing to employers.
The move is the culmination of a two-year process that involved, in part, asking businesses what they wanted in graduates and asking students what they wanted from their degree.
