Woolworths counts down to new CEO at end of February

The clock is ticking on Woolworths' self-imposed deadline to announce its new chief executive by the end of February.
"What I said to the market when I joined on September 1 is that it would probably take the board six months," Woolworths chairman Gordon Cairns tells AFR Weekend. "The last time I checked that six months is up at the end of February, so I don't know why people are getting impatient."
