Canva revenue growth hits 60pc, investors seek shares worth $3.6b

Canva is weeks away from bringing on fresh investors who are willing to buy up to $3.6 billion of the design software giant’s stock, says co-founder and chief operating officer Cliff Obrecht.

The venture capital-backed start-up’s revenue was growing at an extraordinary 60 per cent a year, Mr Obrecht said, ensuring the hotly anticipated share sale had enough demand to ensure Canva could reject investors who asked for onerous terms. He signalled that a listing would be no earlier than mid-2025 and confirmed it would be in the United States.
