It was a tough morning for Telstra Super, with its staff turning up to head office on Melbourne's Spring Street on Monday morning to the scene of a crime. Just a burglary though – nothing too gruesome, thankfully.

Open plan (or "activity-based working") hasn't caught on in the world of industry funds just yet, and the managers' offices had their doors cracked open like a good cold Victorian beer. Sadly, the manager who had 10 brand new iPads sitting behind the desk won't be stuffing Christmas stockings as soon as originally planned – you know how slowly those insurance folk work.
