A word on Richard Umbers, Bernie Brookes' successor as chief executive of flagging department store group Myer.

When Umbers worked for Australia Post boss Ahmed Fahour as the boss of his parcels division, his staff referred to him lovingly as "No Numbers Umbers". We hear that was mainly due to their love of rhyme, but he also wasn't particularly lucky down at the TAB.
