Kerry Stokes' investment in a small honey producer has certainly paid off.
He purchased his now-20.6 per cent stake in Capilano Honey at an average price of $8.67 a share. So he was well ahead even before Monday's $190 million takeover proposal popped the share price 25 per cent to $19.72, adding $8 million in value to his stake in a few short hours.
