When prominent fund manager Marcus Fanning dumped his shares in James Packer's Crown Resorts he exposed the tip of an iceberg of dissatisfaction among minority shareholders.
By publicly declaring that he sold his Crown shares because of concerns surrounding governance, Fanning revealed what other fund managers have been too scared to say publicly.
