A notorious Adelaide bikie who surrendered to police after a week on the run in June posted a video from Queensland this week after celebrating his outlaw club’s milestone anniversary.
Bradley Daniele, 26, attended a three-day Rebels party south of Brisbane to celebrate 50 years since the gang was founded in Queensland, an Advertiser and Storyful investigation can reveal.
On Monday, after partying with fellow members at Logan Village, Daniele — who sports a distinctive ‘Rebels’ tattoo above his eyebrow — posted a video on social media saying he was travelling to the Gold Coast.
“So I may of just missed the flight home on purpose,” the video’s caption said.
“Gold Coast time! Free all Rebels.”
Over the weekend, police locked down the campsite as hundreds of members converged for the meeting.
On Facebook, Daniele posted pictures from the gathering and said: “Well this weekend was a long one in the making. Nothing better than being with My Brothers and going away for a trip. Celebrating 50 years of the REBELS MC.”
Other SA members of the Rebels attended the event.
After nearly a week on the run in June, Daniele surrendered to authorities at Port Augusta Police Station for breaching a sentencing order.
He was serving home detention for being present with two or more criminal organisation participants when the conditions were broken.
He faced Adelaide Magistrates Court following the arrest and was imprisoned for three months and one week on June 27.
Daniele is due to face court again next month on assault and tax-related charges.
Last August, Daniele used Instagram to boast about a Rebels gang meeting in Sydney, which ended with police raids across the western suburbs.
Armed officers hunted down more than 20 bikies from WA and SA, who were then evicted from their Parramatta and Liverpool accommodation.
Daniele shared details of the club’s “bender” and said his entourage were “just being bikies”.
In January 2017, while evading arrest, he taunted police online for using an outdated photo of him and for blocking his comments on the SA Police Facebook page.
He also made allegations that police harassed his family and told others that STAR Group officers were “gonna kick me in’’.
