Friends pay tribute to young SA mum Toni Potter, who was killed after she was hit by reversing Kia sedan at Morphett Vale
A young mum killed in a crash at Morphett Vale at the weekend has been remembered in touching tributes by friends. She had only been recently engaged to her long-term partner.

Young mother Toni Potter has been remembered by friends and family as a gorgeous woman who will be loved and missed by all after she was killed in a crash in Adelaide’s south at the weekend.
The 37-year-old Christie Downs woman tragically died after a car struck her during a family gathering at Morphett Vale.
An elderly driver has been reported over the incident.
Ms Potter, who became engaged in July to Chris Bednall, was at a family get-together on Westmoreland Road when she was hit by a reversing Kia sedan just before 3.30pm on Saturday. She died at the scene.
A friend made a touching tribute on social media on Monday.
“You will be missed by many and loved by all,” the post read.
“No words can truly express this horrifying accident. My heart breaks as I wish we could have done something more.
“Rest in peace gorgeous, please tell those you care for that you love them each and every day.”
A family friend, Shelby Plowman, told 9 News Adelaide that Ms Potter was the love of her fiance Chris’ life.
“The kids and Chris will be lost without her,” she said.
Two other pedestrians – a 36-year-old woman and a 78-year-old woman, both from Morphett Vale – sustained minor injuries in the incident and were taken to the Flinders Medical Centre for treatment.
The Kia’s uninjured driver – a 79-year-old Morphett Vale man – was also taken to Flinders Medical Centre as a precaution.
He has been reported for causing death by dangerous driving.
Ms Potter’s death takes the number of lives lost on SA roads to 68 this year, compared to 85 at the same time last year.
