THE devastated sister of a man killed in a car crash at Yattalunga, near One Tree Hill, has described her brother as a “kind-hearted ratbag”.
Tim Deering, of Williamstown, died when the car he was driving left the Gawler-One Tree Hill Rd and hit a tree about 6.10am on Sunday.
The 42-year-old roof plumber’s grieving sister Cathie Deering, 39, told The Advertiser her older brother lived life his way.
“He was a good big brother,” she said.
“Tim was a kind-hearted ratbag that would have done anything for anyone.
“He loved his family and lived his life his way.”
Ms Deering said her brother would be “moved and missed by so many”.
“I’ll miss his presence in my life,” she said.
Mr Deering’s cousin Raymond Millar, 31, also paid tribute.
“I know the last few years was your darkest time of your life but always want you to know I still love you and will never forget the best times we had together,” he said.
The fatal crash was one of three on Saturday night.
