Long Valley Road is notorious for fatal crashes.
In January 2019, a woman, 46, of Mount Barker was killed in a head-on crash.
The fatal smash came less than three months after high school sweethearts Hayden Perkins, 17, and his passenger Mikayla Eastwood, 18, died after they collided with another car on the same stretch of road.
The tragedy further deepened after it emerged the driver of the other car was a teacher at Eastern Fleurieu School, where the young couple had just finished Year 12.
In a second crash on Friday evening, a motorcyclist died on Hindmarsh Boulevard at Evanston Gardens.
Police say the male rider, 24, of Evanston, crashed just after 5pm.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident and Major Crash officers are investigating.
There have now been 64 lives lost on SA roads, compared with 75 at the same time last year.
