The devastated parents of little Anna Seagren have remembered their gorgeous, cheeky little toddler, who was struck and killed by the family’s 4WD on Friday at their farm.

Little Anna Seagren was a “perfect” toddler, who idolised her big brother and loved the outdoors.

The cheeky 17-month-old was always on the go, whether she was chasing chickens around her family’s Mount Jagged farm or going on little adventures with her “best mate” and brother Jack, 3.

But in the blink of an eye, a tragic accident cut Anna’s life devastatingly short on Friday when she was hit by a four-wheel-drive on her family’s Victor Harbor Road property.

Her mother Jessi Seagren was on her way to pick up her eldest child from the bus stop when she struck the toddler about 3.45pm.

Despite desperate attempts by paramedics to save her, she sadly died at the scene.

Anna’s heartbroken mother and father Danny Seagren were being supported by family and friends on Saturday.

The couple bravely paid tribute to their youngest daughter.

“She was really cheeky, really cuddly and affectionate,” Mrs Seagren said.

“She was just a perfect, happy, boisterous, gorgeous girl.”

Mr Seagren said: “And she was very loved.”

The Seagrens described Anna as a pocket rocket who was bursting with energy.

“She was always on the verge of running. She was just a lightning bolt, really quick,” Mrs Seagren said.

And when she wasn’t bouncing around on her favourite toy - a “little jumpy unicorn” - Anna would usually be outside, happily playing and learning new skills.

“She loved going on the motorbikes,” Mrs Seagren said. “She loved the chickens. She would chase them around.

“(And) she loved her swimming lessons. She was learning to kick her legs.”

The couple said Anna had a special bond with her siblings, big sister Grace, 5, and Jack.

But because Grace was at school, Anna spent most of her time with Jack and they became “thick as thieves”.

“She’s got a three-year-old brother who she absolutely adored,” Mrs Seagren said.

“They were best mates. She was always copying everything he did.”

The Seagrens said Anna was going to be “really, really missed.”
