Man receives massive fine for carrying eight unrestrained children in ute tray
A man has received a large fine for driving along a South Australian beach with eight unrestrained children in the tray of his ute.

A man who drove eight children in his ute tray along a beach has been fined more than $1300.
The 29-year-old man from Para Hills was photographed driving his red Nissan ute through the water at North Beach at Wallaroo on Monday January 4, with the unrestrained passengers sitting in the tray.
Two drivers have been fined over a reckless beach joyride at Wallaroo, where a ute was seen carrying eight children in its tray unrestrained.

He was pulled over by police on Tuesday morning at Port Hughes and was fined $1313 on the spot fine for having two or more children under 16 years not wearing a seatbelt, riding in a part of a vehicle not for people and driving a vehicle without proper control.
The man also lost five demerit points.
Another man from Victoria was fined $287 for driving near people walking along the beach.
