Neighbours have spoken out after a man was allegedly punched in the face by men armed with hammers in a violent home invasion overnight.

A man was punched in the face in a violent home invasion on Thursday morning.
The men allegedly broke into a Dover Gardens home just after 4am, armed with hammers and a large knife.
They allegedly punched the resident of the house in the face, causing minor injuries, and demanded car keys – but were spooked when police showed up.
Police cordoned off the area after the four men fled the scene.
Police dog Zac helped to find two suspects on nearby roofs and another two men hiding in backyards close by.
The home’s occupants did not wish to speak on Thursday morning.
Neighbour Joe said he was woken by the sound of men running across his roof.
“They were jumping between houses and across from our house to the shed,” Joe said.
“When I looked out the window I yelled out at the them and they stopped and were on the shed and then they backtracked … but the police were behind them.”
He said the men hid on his roof before police pulled them down.
Another neighbour, Jessica, said she was woken by banging and lights at 4am and went outside to see two men standing on a roof.
“It was scary, it was really scary,” Jessica said.
“I had no idea what was happening. I just saw two men and then heaps of police.
A 21-year-old and a 27-year-old from Moonta, a 34-year-old Wallaroo Mines man and a 25-year-old from Kadina were arrested and charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass, assault, property damage and carrying an offensive weapon.
The men were expected to be refused bail and face court later on Thursday.
