Man dies after colliding with truck on Sturt Hwy near Blanchetown, on same day as man dies in crash at Biggs Flat
A male driver has died after colliding head-on with a truck on the Sturt Highway, just west of Blanchetown, on Sunday night. It is the second road fatality to occur on the same day, after an elderly man died following a crash on a country road in the Adelaide Hills.

A man has died after a head-on crash with a truck on the Sturt Highway on Sunday night.
The man, 42, of Hewett, was driving west on the highway, 8.5km west of Blanchetown just before 7pm.
Police say he collided head-on with a truck travelling in the opposite direction.
The 42-year-old died at the scene while the driver of the truck, a 33-year-old Broadview man, was treated at the Lyell McEwin Hospital for minor injuries.
Sturt Highway was closed for several hours as Major Crash officers investigated the smash.
The fatal crash comes on the same day as an 88-year-old Stirling man died after crashing his car into a tree on Strathalbyn Rd at Biggs Flat.
He died at the scene about 10.15am on Sunday.
There have now been 60 lives lost on SA roads this year, compared with 67 at the same time in 2019.
