A woman has been arrested for allegedly lying about returning a negative COVID-19 test after flying to Adelaide from Sydney.
The Sturt woman, 43, flew in on July 28.
Police said she claimed to have tested negative on her day one mandatory COVID-19 test.
When police subsequently checked, there was no record of her ever undertaking a test.
She was arrested on Thursday and refused police bail, set to appear in Adelaide Magistrates Court the same afternoon.
The State Government imposed strict border restrictions last month amid soaring cases in Melbourne.
Only essential travellers are permitted to enter SA from Victoria.
The newest arrest follows earlier reports of a man who was arrested for breaching COVID-19 directions after he allegedly walked through a pine forest into South Australia.
The man, 35, of Renmark, was seen walking in a forest along the Princes Highway in Victoria, near the SA border on Wednesday afternoon.
At 5.30pm, officers then found the man in the Glenburnie Pine Forest, about two kilometres inside the SA border.
The man was arrested following a short foot chase through the forest.
He was charged with breaching COVID-19 directions and was refused bail to appear in the Mount Gambier Magistrates Court on Thursday.
A 17-year-old boy was also charged after becoming abusive when asked to wear a mask at the Adelaide Airport.
The teenager, of Christies Beach, had been cleared to travel into Adelaide from NSW, via Melbourne, on Wednesday afternoon.
While police officers were clarifying his status when he landed at 1pm, he allegedly became abusive and refused to comply with a direction to wear a mask.
He was arrested and held in the City Watch House, which delayed some hearings in the Adelaide Magistrates Court, because of COVID-19 concerns.
Hearings were resumed after he was found to not have the virus.
The youth was then granted bail to appear in the Adelaide Youth Court next month, facing a charge of breaching COVID-19 directions.
He is now in an Adelaide hotel, where he was directed to quarantine for two weeks.
Hotel quarantine rules are under review after a returning Victorian traveller infected a pub worker.
Chief public health officer, Professor Nicola Spurrier said rules could be changed so all return travellers from Victoria are forced into a “medi-hotel”.
