Eight people flee drug property at Buckland Park as police find big cannabis crop
A large cannabis crop has been uncovered in Adelaide’s north – eight people fled as police arrived.

Eight people have been arrested after a major drug bust in Adelaide’s north.
A sizeable cannabis crop was uncovered by detectives at a Buckland Park property just before 8am on Tuesday.
Police saw multiple people run away from the Nemesis Court property as they arrived.
A “significant” amount of marijuana plants of varying maturity were found by police growing both hydroponically and in glass houses.
A “large” amount of dried cannabis was also seized.
Police set up cordons around the property and soon located eight people who were then arrested, including a 50-year-old man from Burton and a 49-year-old woman from Mansfield Park.
Two other women, aged 54 and 66, and four men, aged 28, 39, 52 and 45 – all of unknown addresses – were also arrested.
Detectives from the serious and organised crime branch and northern districts criminal investigation branch are investigating the haul.
