A man will face court on Wednesday charged with child exploitation offences after a tip-off from US authorities.
SA Police and Australian Federal Police were alerted to the Torrens Park man, 41, by the US National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children.
Detectives from the SA Joint Anti-Child Exploitation Team searched the man’s home and found several devices allegedly used to share and store child exploitation material.
They further allege the man had been interacting with other suspected child sex offenders.
The man was arrested and charged with one count of using a carriage service to access child pornography and three counts of using a carriage service to transmit child pornography
Both charges carry a maximum penalty of 15 years’ jail. The man will appear in Adelaide Magistrates Court on Wednesday afternoon.
