POLICE believe arsonists may have caused a fire at an abandoned house at Mansfield Park.
Police and fire crews were sent to the house, at the intersection of Hanson Rd and Medika Boulevard at about 4.45am this morning after receiving reports a single-storey fibro house was ablaze.
Firefighters quickly brought the fire under control and prevented it from spreading to nearby properties.
The house has been abandoned since a large fire at the property in May, 2017.
Police are treating Wednesday night’s blaze as suspicious.
They ask anyone with information about the incident to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
