Two more people will learn their fate for their roles in a violent robbery where a man was tasered, tied up, and bashed.

Wendy Anne Paget, 49, will be sentenced later this month for her involvement in the terrifying home invasion that was planned at a child’s birthday party.

One of her co-accused, Rebecca Lynda Majchrak, 34, had a warrant issued for her arrest after she failed to show up to the Adelaide District Court on Tuesday.

“This was a very serious armed robbery that occurred during a home invasion,” a prosecutor said.

At least four offenders forcefully entered the Two Wells home on September 8, 2017.

A man and a woman were inside.

“One of the male offenders either used or threatened to use a taser against (the man) causing him to fall backwards and onto his bedroom floor,” Judge Jane Schammer said during Green’s sentencing.

“(The man) was then punched to the face and kicked and struck multiple times.

“His hands were tied behind his back using electrical tape and he was forced to lie facedown on the loungeroom floor.”

The man had a knife held to his neck and was detained for 45 minutes.

He suffered a concussion, a fractured nose, damage to his eye socket and multiple lacerations.

The group stole three cars, three motorbikes, a trailer, money and electronic devices.

Majchrak, of Hillbank, Paget, of Adelaide, and another co-offender, Damian Anthony Green, of Cobdogla, were found guilty in trial of multiple charges, including false imprisonment and assault causing harm.

“On the prosecution case she’s (Paget) travelled with the group to the residence at Two Wells, she’s then had a similar role to Mr Green – she’s remained outside when the primary offenders have gone into the residence where the false imprisonment has occurred,” the prosecutor said.

Green was jailed in the Adelaide District Court in June, while Stuart James O’Neill, 35, of Freeling, Isaac Giordimania, 38, of Salisbury Downs and Benjamin McCann, 36, of Smithfield have also been sentenced for their involvement.

In September 2017, O’Neill had just left the Mongols but still owed $18,000 in drug money to the gang’s national sergeant at the time, known only as AM.

Majchrak urged O’Neill to participate in the violent break-in so he could pay back some of the debt.

Paget was linked to the offending through text messages and her involvement in a meeting planning the robbery during a birthday party for Majchrak’s child.

Matthew Mead, for Paget, told the court Paget, who is a mother-of-four, had a minimal role in the offending.

“It’s quite clear on his evidence that both Mr Green and Ms Paget were not aware of any pre-existing plans to assault,” Mr Mead said.

The court heard Paget had a very difficult upbringing in life and turned to methamphetamine.

Mr Mead told the court Paget was able to rehabilitate herself from her drug use and has employment available to her once released from custody.

“This is the first time she’s faced a period of imprisonment,” he said.

Judge Jane Schammer will sentence Paget later this month.
