A carjacking victim who was slashed across the face, before he was carjacked at Clarence Gardens has spoken out for the first time.

A Norwood man who was viciously attacked outside an inner southern suburbs venue on Tuesday night, has opened up about the horrifying ordeal.
The victim, Muhammad Bilal was allegedly attacked by a trio on Pearson St, Clarence Gardens during a meetup to sell a Subaru Impreza in the carpark of Avoca Hotel, about 7.20pm.
The 31-year-old sustained serious facial injuries which required stitches, after one of the males allegedly hit him in the face with a glass before stealing his cash and keys.
“They (were) just smashing glass on my face,” Mr Bilal told 7News.
He was rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment where he spent two nights.
Mr Bilal had placed an online advertisement for his car, before he decided to meet up with the prospective buyers on Tuesday December 5.
The prospective buyer had sent Mr Bilal identification to reassure him that he was a legitimate buyer.
“He can show me that he’s a real person,” Mr Bilal said before pausing to speak because of stitches in his mouth.
Following an investigation, two men and a woman were arrested over the alleged assault.
A 31-year-old Adelaide man was charged with theft and was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on February, 14.
A Secombe Heights woman, also 31, was charged with theft and aggravated assault, while a Dover Gardens man, 26, has been charged with theft and aggravated assault.
“It’s not safe for the community, I will say,” Mr Bilal said.
“If it happened to me it could happen to someone else as well.”
