Motorists faced traffic woes at Glen Osmond Rd on Tuesday morning after a traffic light at the busy intersection was taken out.
Around 5.40am, a car hit a traffic light at the intersection of Portrush Rd and Cross Rd, Urrbrae, causing the light to topple over.
Emergency services, including ambulances and police arrived shortly after the incident to examine the scene.
SA Police officers had to stand in the middle of the intersection to manage the flow of traffic.
