Three teens charged after girl, 15, allegedly assaulted on video

A Port Lincoln teenager has been taken to hospital after shocking video appeared to show three girls attacking her on the ground.

Three female teenagers have been charged after allegedly assaulting another teen girl and filming it on a phone.

A video released by 9 News appears to show three teens attacking the 15-year-old, pushing her to the ground and kicking her.

The teen was then pinned to the ground while others watched and videoed it on their phones.

The victim sustained facial and hand injuries and was taken to hospital.

A 14-year-old girl, a 16-year-old girl and an 18-year-old woman were arrested after an alleged assault on a 15-year-old girl known to them in Tomer Lane at Port Lincoln, on the Eyre Peninsula.

The arrests came after a police investigation into the March 26 assault.

The females have been charged with aggravated affray and the girls bailed to appear in the Port Lincoln Youth Court in May while the 18-year-old woman will face the Port Lincoln Magistrates Court in June.
