Two members of a trio – including a former cop – charged over a dark-web drug syndicate making $25,000 per day have pleaded guilty to multiple charges.

Thomas James Booker, 27, a former police officer and alleged to be at the helm of the syndicate had already intimated pleas but formally admitted 54 charges of money laundering drug dealing.

Ryan Jordan Suri-Tucker, 24, of Kings Park, who is alleged to have been subservient to Booker in the scheme, entered guilty pleas to 14 charges.

The third member of the trio, Erin May Gold, 32, of Adelaide has been ordered to stand trial after pleading not guilty to eight charges related to the syndicate.

Suri-Tucker admitted two counts of trafficking a large commercial quantity of LSD, four counts of basic trafficking of LSD, five counts of trafficking cocaine and three counts of trafficking cannabis.

All the charges relate to a search of a Kings Park home on November 22, 2021 when police found Booker and Suri-Tucker in the middle of bundling up packages of drugs.

Police have previously said they had an open spread sheet in front of them showing orders of drugs which needed to be filled.

Booker’s offending stretched far beyond the raid at the Kings Park home.

His charges stretch back to February, 2020 and include dozens of instances of trafficking in large commercial amounts of LSD as well as laundering more than $300,000 cash and importing 8000 tabs of LSD from the Netherlands.

The trio each appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Tuesday to enter pleas.

Police had alleged the trio were taking orders via their dark-web page, Underline Cost, and when they searched Suri-Tucker’s Kings Park home, they found multiple boxes of drugs in various stages of packaging and seized drugs including LSD, cochineal, cannabis and steroids.’

At the time of their arrest police said they also seized about $1m in cash and $700,000 in cryptocurrency.

Police first begun watching Booker when they intercepted a shipment of 8000 LSD tablets sent from the Netherlands to an address in Adelaide.

Booker came to pick up the package from a PO box and led police to dismantle the entire enterprise.

Ms Gold returns to court next week to seek her home detention bail conditions be relaxed.

The two men will appear in the District Court in October where sentencing dates will be set.
