Two teenage boys have been arrested after an alleged break-in at a football club in Adelaide’s south west overnight.
Police said the alarms at the Morphettville Park Football Club on Denham Ave in Morphettville went off about 1.30am on Sunday.
When they arrived, they said a “large quantity” of alcohol had been stolen and two people were near the building.
The pair ran off but were found a short distance away.
A 17-year-old boy from Morphettville and a 15-year-old boy from Edwardstown were each charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass, theft and hindering police.
The 15-year-old was also charged with possessing breaking implement and article of disguise and breach of bail.
He was refused custody and is due to appear in the Adelaide Youth Court on Monday while the 17-year-old is set to face the Adelaide Youth Court on 19 June.
Crime scene investigators attended the break in and police returned the stolen alcohol to the club.
