A man is expected to be charged with “multiple counts” of assault after several people were allegedly assaulted at a major shopping centre in the northeastern suburbs.
Police and paramedics were called to the Tea Tree Plaza bus interchange just after 4pm Saturday with reports a man was assaulting “several” people.
Paramedics treated the victims at the scene.
A 25-year-old man from Bowmans was taken to hospital for a medical assessment.
Police on Saturday night said it was expected he would be charged with “multiple counts of assault".
