Second person charged as police continue investigations into southern suburbs drug bust

A 19-year-old woman is facing serious charges after the discovery of a commercial quantity of LSD, ecstasy, cannabis and prescription meds at a home in Adelaide’s south.

A 19-year-old woman is facing fresh charges after a 21-year-old man was in court yesterday after the discovery of a commercial quantity of LSD, ecstasy, cannabis and prescription medication.

Police, with the Dog Operations Unit, attended and searched a Seacombe Gardens address on Monday where it is alleged officers found the drugs.

A 21-year-old man from the address was arrested and charged with trafficking a commercial quantity of a controlled drug, four counts of trafficking a controlled drug and five counts of possessing prescription medication.

Following further investigations, a 19-year-old Seacombe Gardens woman was arrested Tuesday night and also charged with drug trafficking. She was refused police bail and will appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court today.

The man did not apply for bail and appeared in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on Tuesday, July 9.
