Rosewater business targeted in suspected arson attempt

Police are investigating an arson attempt on a Rosewater business in the latest incident of fires at retail premises across Adelaide and the outer suburbs.
An accelerant was found on the roof of the Grand Junction Rd business after emergency services were called to the scene just before 2.30am Monday.
Initial reports were that the business was on fire but on arrival, MFS found there was no blaze at the premises.
However, police reported an accelerant was found on the roof.
Crime scene investigators will go to the premises on Monday and the incident is being treated as suspicious.
The row of shops that front Grand Junction Rd include the Gift2Go gifts and smokes accessories store, a hair dresser, the Grand Health Medical Centre and a pharmacy. It comes a day after an eastern suburbs smokes store was the victim of a suspicious fire, and a Flinders Park real estate business was targeted for the second day in a row.
In another fire incident, police are investigating a blaze at an Elizabeth Downs property.
Emergency services were called to McKenzie Rd just after midnight to find the dwelling and shed fully ablaze.
Police said the home was unoccupied at the time and there were no injuries.
Crime scene investigators will go to the scene on Monday, as it is being treated as suspicious.
