Police investigating after cyclist hospitalised in hit-run collision at Mount Gambier
A cyclist in his 70s has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car that left the scene – with police now hunting for the driver.

A cyclist in his 70s has been rushed to hospital after he was hit by a car at a busy Mount Gambier intersection.
Police were called to the intersection of Crouch Street North and Tolmie Street about 10.30am on Wednesday, after reports of a collision between a vehicle and a bicycle.
The cyclist, a 72-year-old Mount Gambier man, was taken to hospital by ambulance with injuries. His condition is not considered life-threatening.
The crash occurred near a childcare and early learning centre.
The vehicle involved, described as a grey Mitsubishi 380 sedan, left the scene before police arrived.
Police are now investigating and have asked anyone who saw the crash or has dashcam footage to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online.
