A man is in custody charged with murder following a suspicious death at Morphett Vale in Adelaide’s south last night.

A man is in custody charged with murder following a suspicious death at Morphett Vale in Adelaide’s south last night.
Emergency services were called to Wark Court just after 7pm on Sunday, after reports that a person was unresponsive inside a home.
At the time, police said they were investigating a “serious incident”.
When police arrived they found a 39-year-old Encounter Bay woman dead at the scene.
A 40-year-old Morphett Vale man, who police said was known to the woman, was arrested at the home.
He has been charged with murder and refused bail to appear at the Christies Beach Magistrates Court later on Monday.
The two-storey Wark Court house where the alleged murder happened has been closed off with police tape, as officers continue their investigation.
A neighbour said she was shocked by the event.
