Police, ambulances rush to Royal Park after shooting

Dozens of police were on the scene on Tuesday night after a man was shot and rushed to hospital.

A man has been rushed to hospital after he was shot in Adelaide’s northwest on Tuesday night.

Police and paramedics rushed to the scene on Brandwood St, at Royal Park, after reports of a shooting at about 7.30pm.

The 47-year-old victim has been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A number of witnesses remain on the scene and were talking to police, however no suspects had been located or arrested on Tuesday night.

Police said they were following positive lines of enquiry.

Dozens of police cordoned off the area and detectives from the crime investigation branch were examining the scene.
